What the role is The role of Senior Executive / Executive, Joint Communications Centre (JCC) is to support the work of MDDI JCC, which coordinates information operations across Whole-of-Government, and drives the development of crisis communications capabilities within MDDI and across agencies. What you will be working on The job holder will provide administrative support in the following areas: Finance: Serve as Finance Representative for JCC, tracking budget utilisation and expenditure, and assist the Budget team in preparing budget returns/submissions Administrative/logistics support for meetings and events, where required (e.g. sending invites, collating RSVPs, participant registration, vendor management, catering etc.)Knowledge Management: Assist teams in maintaining and updating shared databases regularly Support JCC management on tasks related to the above, as needed All JCC officers are rostered for duty shifts as part of JCC's daily operations. Under the supervision of the duty manager, the job holder will be required to work with fellow duty officers to: Provide a comprehensive overall situational picture on Government-related issues affecting the Government's public communications efforts; Develop plans and coordinate WoG info operations with various Government agencies and stakeholders for day-to-day incidents as well as signature events impacting Government's policies and public communications efforts; Marshal and coordinate resources among stakeholders and strengthen WoG communications efforts in sensing, analysis and responses. What we are looking for Meticulous and organised in keeping to assigned project timelines, and for invoice-tracking Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Willingness to learn and use tech tools and content-related dashboards e.g. Kairos, Tubular for JCC's daily ops work (note: officer will receive training on the job)Good interpersonal and communication skills Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
