Legal / Senior Legal Counsel (min 8 PQE) – Digital Infrastructure Platform Our client is a private equity–backed digital infrastructure platform with a rapidly expanding footprint across the Asia Pacific region. The company is a leading developer, owner, and operator of data centre assets and is at the forefront of supporting the region’s accelerating digital transformation. As the business continues to scale, it is seeking to appoint a Legal / Senior Legal Counsel to join its high-performing legal team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal and commercial matters , with a strong emphasis on customer contracts and commercial arrangements with hyperscalers, cloud service providers, and enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the drafting, negotiation, and execution of customer contracts , including colocation agreements, master service agreements, and related commercial documentation. Advise on a range of corporate and commercial matters , including procurement, construction, real estate, and project development contracts. Provide legal guidance on regulatory, compliance, and operational issues relevant to the digital infrastructure and data centre industry. Work closely with commercial, project, and operations teams to structure deals and deliver pragmatic, business-oriented legal solutions. Manage and coordinate external counsel where necessary, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective legal support. Support ongoing corporate initiatives, including M&A transactions, joint ventures, and capital projects as the platform grows. Key Requirements Qualified lawyer with ideally a min of 8 years of post-qualification experience , ideally gained in a leading law firm or in-house environment . We can be flexible on PQE for someone with highly relevant experience. Candidates with in-house experience at a data centre operator, digital infrastructure developer, or related sector (e.g., telecoms, energy, or real estate) will be highly regarded. Open to candidates currently in private practice (e.g., from top-tier TMT, Projects, or Corporate practices) with relevant deal exposure and client-facing experience. Strong transactional and commercial drafting skills, with an ability to balance legal risk with business priorities. A self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions‑driven mindset.
