As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform problem troubleshooting with systematic & analytical mindset
Monitor process yield/scrap performance and implement effective improvement actions to improve process stability and solve chronic issues
Conduct training for line technicians to improve their technical competency and disseminate critical knowledge relevant to achieving key module KPIs
Collaborate with equipment engineer on yield-related topics and implement effective improvement/containment actions to prevent recurrence
Collaborate with external vendors on root cause identification, application support and other topics relevant to the smooth running of manufacturing equipment
Define process control procedures and upkeep documents related to the smooth running of manufacturing equipment
Participate or lead projects involving downtime reduction, cost saving, yield improvement or new material qualification
Coordinate equipment activities with inter and intra department personnel to ensure smooth execution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field
Hands on experience in vacuum PVD equipment
Dynamic team player with good interpersonal skills
Strong passion and drive to seek improvements to equipment and process setup
