Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Fast response of any PVD, plasma or oven curing process or quality related issue and resolve the issues
  • Line process issue trouble shooting and training of line AEs
  • Owner of PFMEA, OCAP, WI or SOP documentation and update
  • Plan and conduct new process/ package development and evaluations
  • Perform process margin study to determine the process capability of new process/ package
  • Execute CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) or manage projects that contribute to improved yield & cost efficiency
  • New machine qualification, prepare qualification report, documentation and release by CRB
  • Work together with EE to setup the FDC control for PVD, Plasma and Oven
  • Provide technical training to the AEs whenever there is process issues encountered in manufacturing line
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure successful implementation of new process/ package

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Science
  • At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry with exposure to lithography or dry process such as plasma, sputtering; or wet process such as electrochemical plating, wet etching etc
  • Statistical (SPC) and analytical skills (problem solving methodologies) are essential
  • Statistical tool and data analytical software such as JMP are essential
  • Familiar with using MS Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience in using CAD and statistical software will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with metrology tools such as profiler, OM, Film thickness measurement, Four-point probe will be an added advantage
