Flight Control Actuation Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in aerospace engineering and have experience with mechanical component maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing critical testing, repair, and troubleshooting of flight control actuations to ensure final products meet customer expectations and safety standards.
  • Monitoring shop processes and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Documenting work procedures and data input, as well as maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

For this role, we seek an individual with analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems quickly and develop effective solutions. Critical thinking is also essential, as the specialist must be able to assess complex situations and propose novel approaches to problem-solving. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effectively collaborating with colleagues and conveying complex information to various audiences.

Required qualifications include a diploma or NITEC in an aerospace/aviation science or engineering discipline, with aviation experience and regulatory knowledge highly valued. Analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, numerical skills, communications skills, and team working skills are all required for success in this position.
