Component Maintenance Services Manager
Description
This is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring the provision of high-quality component maintenance services for buses and automotive vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including vehicle component overhaul, repair, and maintenance activities. This will involve leading a team to achieve quality standards and efficiency in component repair and maintenance activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are essential to measuring success in this role, and regular performance reports will need to be prepared and submitted. Additionally, the Component Maintenance Services Manager will be responsible for analyzing Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and part planning to ensure optimal workflow and minimize waste.
A strong organizational and multitasking ability is required to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is also essential for the preparation of reports and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications/Certifications Required
- Bachelor of Engineering degree
