Overview
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service ( ) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
As a Data and Digitalisation Trainee in the Management Information Branch of the Research and Management Information Division, you will be part of a dynamic team involved in formulating and implementing policies and initiatives under the MOE Data Strategy to drive MOE's digital transformational journey.
What You Will Be Working On
Contribute to the in-house development of MOE data infrastructure through engagement with different stakeholders to understand needs, clarify value propositions and co-create solutions.
Plan, curate and implement various MOE and whole-of-government data-related professional development initiatives to strengthen MOE officers’ data literacy and competencies.
Provide consultancy services to MOE Divisions to support their data exploitation efforts and drive new data use cases.
Collaborate with data scientists and programme/policy owners in MOE on data science (e.g., artificial intelligence and machine learning) projects.
Review and update the MOE HQ Data Management Policy and advise MOE Divisions on policies related to data governance, data management and data sharing.
