Job Title:
Poultry Farm Veterinary Specialist

This position is designed to support our poultry farming operations in Singapore. As a seasoned veterinary professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and productivity of our flock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Veterinary & Animal Health Management
Monitor and assess the health status of poultry flocks on a regular basis, including daily field visits, clinical evaluations, and laboratory coordination.

Support diagnosis, treatment, and control of infectious diseases and metabolic disorders.

Implement and oversee vaccination programs, medication protocols, and nutrition-related health practices.

Lead preventive health management strategies, aligned with industry standards and regulations.

  • Farm Biosecurity & Compliance

Ensure strict biosecurity measures are in place and adhered to across all farm operations.

Conduct periodic audits and inspections to monitor compliance with internal and statutory health and safety standards.

Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure the farm meets veterinary, public health, and environmental requirements.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze farm health performance indicators, mortality, growth rates, and medication outcomes to support strategic decisions.

Prepare and present veterinary health reports and recommendations to farm management.

  • Training & Technical Support

Provide technical training and mentoring to farm supervisors and staff on animal welfare, health monitoring, and emergency response.

Share knowledge of best veterinary practices and innovations that can benefit local operations.

  • Support Farm Operations
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to improve flock performance and productivity.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align veterinary health with production planning and improvement projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Science or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in poultry farming or livestock veterinary services.
  • Experience in biosecurity, disease control, and farm production systems.
  • Strong knowledge of avian pathology, pharmacology, and epidemiology.
  • Good communication skills in English; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proven experience in technical training, coaching, or expatriate assignments is an advantage.
