Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Solutions Sales Lead to drive growth in microbiology applications within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is pivotal in leading commercial efforts for automation, robotics, and turn-key investment projects , including our flagship Automation and Robotics Solutions (MARS) and collaboration with regional and global partnerships.
You will own the full sales cycle-from pre-sales consultation to coordinating post-sales support-ensuring a seamless customer experience and delivering impactful solutions that transform pharma operations across APAC. This role will be based in Singapore and regional travel required.
What You Do
  • Sales Cycle Management: Lead and manage the entire sales cycle for automation and robotics solutions in microbiology, from initial customer engagement through to closing and post-sales support.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry, including decision-makers, influencers, and end-users, positioning MARS as a strategic partner.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support and consultation to customers, demonstrating the value of our products with a thorough understanding of microbiology applications, automation and robotics solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region, leveraging market knowledge and industry connections to expand our customer base.
  • Solution Customization: Work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions to meet those requirements, ensuring optimal satisfaction and performance.
  • Deepen Market Knowledge: Gathering and reporting information on trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth, providing strategic insights to the sales and marketing organisations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management (IPLCM), commercial excellence and marketing, to ensure alignment and support for business development activities.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our automation and robotics solutions.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Prepare accurate forecasts and regular reports and for senior leadership on business development progress and challenges.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in sales within the Life Sciences industry, preferably related to microbiology applications and/or automation/robotics. Experienced in managing high value complex sales.
  • Solid understanding of microbiology applications and/or automation and robotics technologies used in pharmaceutical applications.
