What the role is: The CNB Public Communications Unit is responsible for managing the Bureau's communications and media relations activities. Our strategic aim is to create public awareness of CNB's programmes, policies and enforcement efforts with a view of gaining public support in our enforcement, preventive drug education as well as in Singapore's zero‐tolerance stance towards drugs. The Unit's work ranges from media relations (news releases, publicity features), social media outreach (content strategy, production of infographic, visual or video media), publications, to internal communications such as conceptualising and disseminating CNB‐wide corporate communications messages. It also manages the CNB Feedback Unit which handles public feedback and supports the CNB Quality Service Manager in driving the organisation's service quality and standards. What you will be working on: Jobscope Primarily support the CNB Feedback Unit in feedback management, reporting to the Manager/Senior Manager (Public Communications). Manage and provide timely resolution to enquiries, requests, feedback and appeals from the public on CNB, drug‐related information or preventive drug education. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely responses. Support the Public Communications Unit and Communications Division in media monitoring, media publicity, corporate communications (content creation, publications), administrative and logistical support (procurement, inventory management, visitor management, secretariat coordination). May be called upon to assist in event management. Responsibilities: Feedback management (primary)Handle public feedback via e‐services feedback form and correspondence (email, letter). Insert professional, courteous, efficient, empathetic service standards. Maintain and update feedback in a customer‐relationship management system (CRMS) for case assignment, management and records/knowledge base. Ensure robust, relevant and timely responses; monitor outstanding issues and close within stipulated response time. Draft formal replies and manage escalation to supervisors and CNB Quality Service Manager. Analyze feedback statistics and prepare regular reports for Senior Management and ad‐hoc analysis. Proactively identify improvements to policies and processes. Serve as a resource‐person for internal stakeholders on service‐quality management, maintaining positive relationships. Media and corporate communications Daily media monitoring and summarisation. Compile a daily broadcast of news for CNB officers and management. Support press conferences and media visits, disseminate approved news releases, upload to CNB website and internal broadcasts in a timely manner. Assist with content creation, simple design work, publications and website management (enhancements and content migration). Administrative and logistical support Resource planning and procurement: assist in budget planning, procurement of goods, services, equipment for media content and operations. Manage fixed assets, inventory, corporate gift inventory, publicity collaterals. Secretariat, event support and welfare management: support meetings, visitor management, run public events (e.g. DrugFreeSG Light‐Up, book launch, appreciation events) and coordinate welfare activities. Other responsibilities Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor. What we are looking for: Good writing skills; proficient in written and spoken English. Good team player, highly committed, full of initiative. Good communication and project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders. Experience in feedback management, marketing, public affairs or corporate communications is an asset. Able to multi‐task and work well under tight deadlines.
