Overview Senior Identity & Access Management Architect (IAM) - Global Security Organisation Responsibilities The mission of TikTok's Global Security Organization (GSO) is to build and earn trust by reducing risk and securing our businesses and products. GSO keeps TikTok safe, secure, and operating at scale for over 1 billion people worldwide, ensuring platform safety, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across operations. We seek a highly skilled IAM Architect to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise IAM solutions. You will collaborate with security leadership, IT, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to align IAM initiatives with organizational goals and security best practices. Responsibilities Act as a key liaison between the IAM teams in the US and Singapore and IT/business units in China and the Singapore region to drive the IAM program forward. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, platform, and security teams to assess the current IAM state and identify improvements or remediation. Partner with business stakeholders to promote awareness, adoption, and integration of IAM capabilities across systems and applications. Work with IAM product teams developing in-house solutions across Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Secrets Management to deliver robust and scalable IAM capabilities. Support internal and external audits by ensuring appropriate access controls are in place, well-documented, and that evidence for compliance is provided. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications : In-depth understanding of core IAM domains (Authentication, Authorization, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), PAM, ITDR); proven experience designing and deploying IAM solutions in large-scale enterprises; hands-on IAM capabilities in Authentication and SSO; strong cloud IAM/PAM experience (Azure, AWS, GCP); scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs); ability to partner with globally distributed teams; experience leading a technical team of 3–5 developers/analysts. Preferred Qualifications : 5+ years in Cybersecurity or IT Infrastructure with at least 3 years in IAM; Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Security, or related; ability to work independently with cross-regional teams; hands-on IAM development experience.
