This role will lead and shape digital transformation (including AI and BI) initiatives across MUFG and its partner banks, with a focus on translating business priorities into scalable digital solutions. The VP will play a key role in overseeing and driving digital implementations with external vendors , overseeing use case development, and aligning regional effortsThe ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting background, a solid understanding of digital and AI technologies and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple markets.**Key Responsibilities** **Digital Transformation** **Strategy & Deployment Leadership*** Drive the agenda for AI deployment with external vendors for use cases, including solution design, and deployment planning.* Be a trusted partner to business units and lead cross-functional teams to implement AI and other digital solutions across MUFG and partner banks in Asia.* Lead evaluation and select technology partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.* Develop frameworks for performance tracking, impact measurement, and continuous improvement.**Market Intelligence*** Lead research and analysis on emerging technologies, start-ups, and strategic trends relevant to financial services.* Guide the identification and evaluation of partnership opportunities aligned with MUFG’s digital strategy.* Provide inputs into reporting and recommendations for senior management and Head Office.**Stakeholder Engagement & Regional Enablement*** Engage with senior stakeholders across MUFG and partner banks to align digital initiatives with business priorities.* Support regional enablement through execution oversight.**Job Requirements*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred.* At least 10 years of working experience in consulting (strategy, digital transformation, or technology advisory) with leadership exposure.* Program management and consulting experience are a must to oversee the AI and BI projects.* Strong understanding of safe and responsible AI technologies and digital architecture in financial services.* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-border initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.* Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multi-cultural environment.*We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be notified.*Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
