Maintenance and Engineering Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Maintenance and Engineering Manager to lead our strategic sustainability initiatives and manage the building’s sustainability systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing plans to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Maintain and optimize the operations of all plants, equipment, and systems within the building.
  • Formulate and implement a sustainability management plan in line with industry standards.
  • Work closely with consultants to ensure compliance for Green Mark verifications and re-certification.
  • Interface with government agencies, owners, tenants, and visitors on sustainability matters.
  • Organize regular meetings for Green Committees to share data and best practices.
  • Analyze utilities consumption (Electricity, Water & Chilled Water) and take appropriate actions to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.
  • Procure Electricity from Energy Market.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operations of ACMV systems and IBMS in the building.
  • Monitor and optimize the operations of M&E systems without compromising safety and comfort.
  • Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans for the M&E system.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure contractors/vendors complete all repair and maintenance work within required timelines and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and related local ordinances for Green Building Operation.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Professional certification in sustainability, ACMV, and/or energy management.
  • Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM) / SCEM trained preferably.
