Scientific Instrument Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Servicing Specialist to join our team of highly skilled professionals. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that all instruments are functioning optimally and providing accurate results. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during your visits.

  • Install, commission, and maintain scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any service-related issues.
  • Buid strong relationships with customers to ensure quality service support.
  • Identify opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support service requirements.
  • Deliver technical training to end-users and distributors.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years' experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
  • Knowledge of Particle Size Analyzer, X-ray Fluorescence, Spectroscopy, or ICP Spectrometer is an advantage.
  • Possess a vehicle due to the need for site travelling.
