Knowledge and experience in sponsorship marketing and sales of health, education, or event-related services.
Experience in working with Private Enterprises, Government Organizations, Secondary Schools, and Tertiary Institutions.
Conduct market research to identify sponsorship leads to understand sponsor needs and develop targeted sponsorship messaging.
Identify and prospect for potential sponsors that are aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
Initiate contact with prospective sponsors, build relationships, and pitch sponsorship opportunities.
Create sponsorship proposals highlighting value proposition, benefits, activation strategies, and deliverables for each potential sponsor.
Negotiate sponsorship terms, draft and finalize sponsorship agreements, and monitor sponsorship deliverables.
Plan and implement promotional strategies to integrate sponsor branding into events, marketing materials, and communication channels.
Oversee the events team and manage outreach events and activities.
Prepare detailed sponsorship reports for stakeholders, including key metrics and insights.
Conduct searches to identify sources of government or private funding.
Prepare funding application documents to align funding requirements with the organization's services and programs. Follow through with all queries and completion of the funding application.
Job Skills and Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with sponsors.
Able to apply strategic marketing and promotional practices relevant to the healthcare segment to develop effective sponsorship plans.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing sponsorship deals.
Experience and understanding of promotional strategies for different media and channels.
Strong project management skills to manage multiple sponsorships simultaneously.
Knowledge of the healthcare, mental health industry, and youth culture.
Understanding of government funding sources and processes.
Savvy with social media, online communication, and IT. Have your own laptop and mobile phone.
Able to work on weeknights and weekends where required.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
