Job Title: Hydroculture Plants Team Lead

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our hydroculture plants team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our nursery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of hydroculture plant management, including plant propagation, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of nursery workers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production planning process, scheduling and implementing hydroculture plant projects, and monitoring the maintenance and efficient use of all nursery machinery and equipment.

In addition, they will work closely with our Senior Manager (Nursery) to prepare costing and quotations for tender submissions, contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery operations, processes, and resource management, and perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager or Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily work tasks and ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
  • Schedule and implement hydroculture plant projects.
  • Monitor the maintenance and efficient use of all nursery machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure best horticultural practices are applied in the care, propagation, and upkeep of nursery plants.
  • Prepare costing and quotations for tender submissions.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in nursery or horticultural management, preferably with exposure to hydroculture.
  • Strong knowledge of nursery operations, including plant propagation, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
  • Experience in supervising and managing nursery workers.
  • Familiar with machinery and equipment used in nursery settings.
