Job Title: Hydroculture Plants Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our hydroculture plants team.

This key member of our operations team will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our nursery. As a leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the production planning process, scheduling and implementing hydroculture plant projects, and monitoring the maintenance and efficient use of all nursery machinery and equipment.

  • Daily Work Tasks: Manage daily work tasks and ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
  • Project Implementation: Schedule and implement hydroculture plant projects.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Monitor the maintenance and efficient use of all nursery machinery and equipment.
  • Horticultural Practices: Ensure best horticultural practices are applied in the care, propagation, and upkeep of nursery plants.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in nursery or horticultural management, preferably with exposure to hydroculture.
  • Strong knowledge of nursery operations, including plant propagation, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
  • Experience in supervising and managing nursery workers.
  • Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in nursery settings.
