Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Marine Propulsion Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of marine propulsion equipment.

You will perform MRO services, including planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repairs, and complete overhauls of major OEM marine propulsion equipment. Additionally, you will generate field service reports with photos and commission new gearboxes through yard, basin, and sea trials.

Able to interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on electrical systems with minimal guidance, you will also assist in preparing parts quotations and conduct daily toolbox meetings to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in the marine industry, specifically in propulsion
  • Able to perform troubleshooting on propulsion-related equipment with minimal guidance
  • Must be willing to travel overseas for assignments and deploy within short notice periods
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
