Marine Propulsion Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of major OEM marine propulsion equipment.
About the Role:- This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer with experience in the marine industry to join our team and take on key responsibilities.
- Perform MRO services covering planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair, and complete overhaul of major OEM marine propulsion equipment.
- Generate field service reports with photos of before and after repairs for clients.
- Commission new gearboxes involving yard, basin, and sea trials.
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot faults on electrical systems.
- Assist Workshop Managers in preparing parts quotations for purchasing spare parts.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required in the workshop.
- Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subjects.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Marine Industry in propulsion.
- Able to perform troubleshooting on propulsion-related equipment with minimal guidance.
- Must be willing to travel overseas for assignments.
- Must be able to deploy within short notice periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
