Job Summary
Excelerate Energy seeks a proactive and tech-savvy individual to join the Singapore Business Development team as a Senior Analyst. The successful candidate will support development activities and driving implementation of new AI tools for the team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in commercial and financial analysis, stakeholder management, and strategic planning within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following activities.
Conduct research and analysis to support development projects and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to financial forecasting and budgeting activities to ensure alignment with overall business strategies and project objectives.
Support financial modelling activities; prior experience with greenfield/brownfield project finance modelling, DCF Valuations would be advantageous.
Leverage on new AI tools to analyze data, generate insights, and automate routine tasks.
Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Providing administrative support where required, e.g., tender packages, meeting notes etc.
Support development and implementation of project plans and timelines.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to provide timely insights and recommendations.
Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities and partnerships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance etc., to support development projects and initiatives.

About You
At least 3 years prior experience in Business Development, Corporate Finance & Project Finance in Corporates in the Energy/Infrastructure sector, or experience working in Consulting firms/Buyside investment management firms/Finance sector active in Energy/Infrastructure sector.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other data analysis and new AI tools (e.g., machine learning platforms, data analysis software).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with various senior level internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical rigour and attention to detail, should be able to work independently with limited supervision
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
