What the role is:
School of Engineering - Associate Lecturer (Aerospace Engineering)
What you will be working on:
Facilitate learners’ learning, perform grading and assessment for Pre-employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) based on Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) SAR-66 syllabus.
Development of CAAS SAR-66 curriculum for Pre-employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET).
What we are looking for:
Qualification in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of work experience in the aerospace MRO, with the following criteria(s):
hold, or have held an aircraft maintenance license (B1 or B2 category) issued by CAAS, or
5 years experience as an aircraft maintenance technician in the B1 Category and has passed CAAS SAR-66 basic examinations in the relevant B1 or B2 Category, or
Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, and has passed CAAS SAR-66 basic examinations in in the relevant B1 or B2 Category.
Proficient in developing curriculum and delivering lessons related to CAAS SAR-66 curriculum in the relevant B1 or B2 Category.
Genuine passion to share knowledge and interact with youths, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
Excellent team player in collaborative settings.
