Our team seeks a highly motivated Research Associate to contribute to the development of spinal implant materials and technology.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research team at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, School of Medicine.
Job Description
We are looking for an individual with expertise in 3D Printing and/or CAD design to perform quality research under our supervision. The ideal candidate should have strong aptitude in research work, excellent communication skills and proficiency in English language.
The key responsibilities include:
- Experimental research and engineering design;
- Maintaining trial databases, analysing data through statistical procedures and preparing reports;
- Helping with submissions and providing administrative support to the projects;
- Collaborating with multiple departments involved in the project and maintaining regular meetings;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Engineering or related field with experience in metal additive manufacturing (AM), material characterization, and design for AM. Excellent command of appropriate Engineering/Medical Terminology is essential. Additionally, good oral and written communication skills are required.
You should also be able to work on flexible hours and multitask effectively.
