Research Associate

About the Role:
A highly motivated and skilled Research Associate is sought after to join our dynamic team in Outram Campus. As a key member of the Office of Research, you will play a vital role in supporting various research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.
  • Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results and research findings.
  • Evaluate and interpret collected data and prepare oral presentations or written reports/scientific manuscripts/literature for publication and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • Contribute to project management, provide guidance to undergraduate/medical students.
  • Assist with general upkeep of laboratory needs, maintain safety protocols, provide technical support and establish work procedures for ongoing research projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field;
Demonstrated basic knowledge, skills and expertise in supporting various research activities;
Knowledge of the scientific background relevant to the research area;
Laboratory experimental skills;
A strong team player who is open-minded, energetic, highly motivated and can work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and diverse workforce.
