Senior Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to oversee and manage all contractual obligations, disputes, and negotiations for our construction projects. This is a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex contracts.

  • Manage Quantity Surveyor (QS) team and project profit & loss and deal with clients.
  • To establish team objectives and motivate/develop QS to achieve the team objective.
  • To establish, develop, implement, and monitor systems for QS, contract, and cost management.
  • To review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost/charging concerns.
  • To resolve problems encountered by QS/project teams, including dealing with clients/sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters.
  • Take ownership of project cost/contractual related settlements.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting, and administering a diverse range of construction contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
