The role of marketing promotions plays a critical role in the Strategic Marketing team to drive promotional campaigns to support business growth. The incumbent will have the opportunity to inject new ideas for promotion strategies and tactics to drive breakthrough in the executions. To bring each promotion to fruition, the team generates business papers accompanied with strong justification in target projection and cost estimation. To support each promotion, the team develops various marketing collaterals to equip the sales channels in reaching out to their customers. To ensure consistent sales activities, it is also important that the team monitors and be aware of the offerings in the market to remain competitive. You will get to work alongside a young and dynamic team that delivers competitive promotions and marketing collaterals to support sales channels in raising awareness of the promotions for both existing and new to Income customers to drive sales acquisitions. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Digital Business team to understand digital platforms to drive online sales for our suite of insurance products as well as the Product Marketing team to synergise product activities with the promotions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Plan and support the launch of consumer promotions to drive business goals. Work closely with business team and deep dive into data insights to develop sound business case and provide recommendation on promotion mechanics to achieve business goals. Develop promotion strategy and calendar to optimize efficiency in driving sales, with regular tracking of sales performance and ability to drive action plans and make key decisions to pivot and optimize promotions to achieve business targets. Work with external creative and/or internal designer to conceptualize and develop breakthrough creative and support the end-to-end campaign execution. Plan and optimize monthly and quarterly promotions calendar, based on insights and performance of the promotions and provide recommendations on promotion mechanics and flighting of promotions. Work with stakeholders to ensure that promotion mechanics are set up, tested and displayed correctly to ensure content accuracy. Work with stakeholders to ensure system readiness and enhancements to deliver the campaign requirements, conduct user-testing for promotion system. Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure compliance with regulations. Ability to oversee multiple projects independently and competently with a keen eye for details. Track and update budgets, timelines, and stakeholder approvals. Monitor the campaign performance using various metrics and prepare post campaign analysis. Monitor competitors' promotions on an on-going basis to ensure competitive offerings. Handling of administrative matters relating to campaigns such as gifts and vouchers management, appeals management, procurement and budget tracking. REQUIREMENTS: Experience Strong desire to learn along with professional drive Good business acumen At least 7 years of product marketing or promotion marketing experience will be preferred Experience in the insurance industry will be an advantage Proven track record of solid project management skills, delivering projects within deadlines and budgets Ability to analyse sales data and consumer trends to understand the behaviour of customers, translating them into actionable inputs for marketing promotions A portfolio that has demonstrated a keen understanding and proper application of marketing concepts and processes with a proven track record of launching successful programs that have contributed to revenue growth Experience with responsibility for accurate campaign set up, user testing, issue resolution and enhancements with technical team Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking Willing to challenge status quo and take risks Copywriting, excellent communication skills and critical thinking Meticulous with a keen eye for numbers and details Education / Training / Skills Degree in marketing/business or any related discipline Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
