JOB SUMMARY: The Deputy Head of the Senior School (Pastoral) will be responsible for leading and developing the pastoral provision across the Senior School, ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and personal growth of all students. The role requires a strategic and compassionate leader who can inspire staff, build strong relationships with students and parents, and use data to monitor and respond to trends in attendance, behaviour, safeguarding, and engagement. In addition, they will be expected to contribute to the wider life of the College and support the ongoing development of a caring, inclusive, and aspirational community. REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must have: An appropriate degree, with PGCE, or other equivalent teaching qualification Minimum five years’ teaching experience, preferably within an international setting Significant experience of pastoral leadership and safeguarding Demonstrated capacity to lead teams and manage change Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusive practice, and holistic education A positive, solution-focused attitude and high professional standards Alignment with our core values of excellence, kindness, sustainability, diversity and community Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child A mindset of continuous Professional Learning and improvement Experience in senior leadership and understanding of IGCSE and IB are desirable.
