Director Technology Consulting

Director Technology Consulting (IT for Infrastructure Business) As a seasoned Director of Technology Consulting, you will be responsible for leading IT strategy and solution delivery for clients in the Infrastructure sector, encompassing utilities, smart cities, energy, and transportation. Your expertise in automation, digitalization, analytics, cybersecurity, ERP systems, AI/ML, smart metering, and other emerging technologies will be crucial in driving digital transformation and large-scale technology programs in mission-critical environments. You are expected to be a strategic thinker, trusted advisor, and hands-on leader capable of aligning business needs with advanced IT solutions.In this role, your key responsibilities will include leading IT consulting engagements for infrastructure-focused clients, defining and driving the technology roadmap, and aligning it with client objectives and emerging industry trends. You will serve as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will represent the organization at industry forums, client briefings, and steering committees, while also overseeing business development, execution planning, deliveries, and portfolio growth.You will be tasked with providing architectural oversight for complex, multi-technology solutions across infrastructure domains, driving solution design and execution excellence, and ensuring seamless integration of technology environments with high standards of security, resilience, and scalability. Furthermore, you will build and mentor a high-performing team of solution architects, domain consultants, and delivery leads, collaborate cross-functionally with internal practices and ecosystem partners, and oversee project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple engagements.To qualify for this role, you should have 12-18 years of progressive experience in IT consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the infrastructure/utilities domain. Strong domain understanding of energy infrastructure, utilities, smart grids, or public sector digital initiatives is essential, along with demonstrated experience in leading automation, digitalization, analytics, cybersecurity, ERP systems, AI/ML, smart metering, and other emerging technologies. Hands-on leadership experience in Smart Metering/AMI projects, a strong understanding of IT/OT convergence, SCADA systems, critical infrastructure security frameworks, and proven success in managing multimillion-dollar programs and cross-functional delivery teams are also required. Additionally, you should possess executive-level stakeholder management, influencing skills, strategic mindset with hands-on technical depth, strong commercial acumen, client relationship management, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and client-driven environment.This position is based in Gurgaon/Mumbai.,
