Description About the job Business Intelligence Analyst (Position based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur) About the Company ORA is a house of consumer healthcare brands aiming to build a core shared technology and services layer. The core thesis here is that demographic-focused digital clinics can leverage a shared technology and services platform to provide a differentiated and comprehensive care experience for patients seeking care for a wide variety of conditions. ORA has built 3 brands across 3 markets in less than 2 years and we’re ready to accelerate our growth. What has traditionally been a continuous improvement stream instead of BAU now needs to be developed into something more scalable, more sustainable and more structured. Being practically unconstrained in the opportunities we can go after is core to ORA’s nature. While this is a great position to be in when everything is possible, prioritization can become extremely challenging. Time is our most scarce resource and optionality is our biggest distraction. Responsibilities General: Collaborate with stakeholders from different BUs to identify key business questions and data requirements Integrate data from different sources to centralized reporting via Extract, transform, and load (ETL) techniques Carry out data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of new and existing reports Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity as well as areas of weakness, and come up with recommendations for business improvement Assist with relevant performance analysis for periodic business reviews Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools Support ad-hoc analysis requests and contribute to ongoing data projects Performance measurements Utilization rate of data dashboards Request turnaround time Revenue and/or cost impact of insights Values we want to see Curiosity: a growth mindset, a hunger to learn and expand horizons, a genuine interest in the world. Qualifications Completed a Bachelor’s Degree or pursuing one and in their final year of studies Proficiency in SQL, Python and advanced Google Sheets functions; other programming languages are a bonus Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau etc. Prior experience or internship in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field is a plus Strong analytical & problem solving skills: Ability to analyze, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions in response to data Business oriented, paying attention to details and result driven Strong social & interpersonal skills Able to work across functional areas and levels of the organization Strong verbal and written communication: ability to simplify, synthesize and convince Rigorous and organized, meeting deadlines and ensuring team performance Ability to work in fast paced startup environment Reporting lines Reports to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Other information Position based in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore Seniority level Internship Employment type Full-time Job function Research, Analyst, and Information Technology Industries: Wellness and Fitness Services We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
