Overview
Connect Energy partners with a maritime client to look for the following individual to join their Singapore team.
Responsibilities
The Service Engineer supports global customers on both Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS) as well as propulsion / steering control systems.
Involve in providing onboard services, commissioning of refit and retrofit project, remote guidance / product support to customers and backend support for field service team
Maintain good relationships with existing clients
Involve in workshop test and technical preparation
Generate service reports, update drawings cable information database
Manage related administrative work
Ad hoc related duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Electronic / Electrical / Instrumentation
3 - 6 years experience in Alarm Monitoring and ControlSystem as well as good knowledge of computer hardware / peripherals and basic software's
Experience onboard ship for automation systems (control and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems and power management
Hands on service on the main engine and thrusters is an added advantage.
Good communication skills, independent and good project management skills
