Senior Quantum Computing Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled scientist to help us design and implement cutting-edge quantum computing systems. This individual will work closely with our team to develop the enabling technology behind our products, ensuring successful implementation of product features and specifications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement quantum computing systems in collaboration with other experts.
  • Solve complex scientific and technical problems to support product development and implement solutions in computer code for integration with our products and services.
  • Mentor junior scientists on the team to enhance their skills and progress within the company.
  • Document work and present results both internally and externally.
  • Write reports, research papers, and technical documentation as required by the organization.
  • Collaborate with employees and external partners to develop and protect novel intellectual property related to quantum hardware and software innovations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and technical advancements.

Requirements:

  • A PhD in Quantum Computing, Experimental Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of post-doctoral work or equivalent R&D experience at a comparable level.
  • Expertise in compiler development or programming languages design.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with Matlab, C, or C++.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • High motivation with a passion for learning and driving technical progress.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
