Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Computing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for our quantum computers and contributing to the cutting-edge technology in the field of quantum computing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a talented team, and drive technical progress. You will have the chance to mentor junior scientists, maintain proper documentation, and present results both internally and externally.

  • Design and Implement Software Solutions: You will design and implement software solutions for our quantum computers using your expertise in compiler development or programming languages design.
  • Solve Complex Technical Problems: You will solve complex technical problems in support of our product development and implement these solutions in code for integration with our products and services.
  • Mentor Junior Scientists: You will mentor junior scientists on the team to enable their progress within the company and improve on technical skills.
  • Presentation and Documentation: You will maintain proper documentation of your work and present results both internally and externally.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A PhD in Quantum Computing, Experimental Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years or more of post-doctoral work or equivalent R&D experience at a comparable level.
  • Expertise in compiler development or programming languages design.
  • Programming experience with Python, and preferably also with Matlab, C, or C++.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for learning and driving technical progress.
