Your role in the team As the Social Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all our social media efforts for the Singapore market, working closely with the wider marketing team including designers, and paid media specialists. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will play a vital role in the formulation of content pillars, channel strategies and multi-format content across social platforms. Your insights and creativity will shape the way we communicate with potential and existing clients, supporting both acquisition and retention efforts for IG in Singapore. What You’ll Do Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the local market that aligns with our marketing goals and drives brand awareness, client engagement, and lead generation. Create and manage multi-format social media content that resonates with target audiences across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, and Youtube. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve campaigns and content. Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage interactions with clients in a way that fosters community growth and enhances the customer experience. Manage paid social campaigns, optimizing for key performance metrics. Ensure that all social media activities comply with financial industry regulations and best practices. What You’ll Need For This Role 6 + years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry. Proven experience managing social media platforms and content production. Strong knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Experience with paid social media advertising and proficiency in optimizing campaigns for performance. Excellent content creation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial products in a simple, engaging manner. A passion for finance, trading, and financial markets, with an understanding of CFDs, share dealing, or similar financial products being a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
