Coinbase is seeking a visionary Product Manager to set the bar for consumer product quality across our platform, leveraging the power of AI. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will proactively solve tomorrow's problems today, ensuring millions of users have a seamless, reliable, and trustworthy experience with their crypto assets. You will operate at the intersection of AI, platform stability, and user experience, building scalable, intelligent systems that elevate the quality of every product we ship globally. This is an individual contributor role with significant scope and executive visibility. You will define a multi-year strategy to embed quality into the product lifecycle, drive execution across core engineering and data science teams, and influence product direction across the organization without direct authority. Responsibilities You will own the strategic vision and execution across three pillars of Consumer Product Quality: AI-Powered Defect Prevention & Platform Reliability Proactive Quality Systems: Lead the development and rollout of intelligent, AI-driven systems that identify and prevent critical product defects before they impact the customer experience Measurement & Optimization: Define and track North Star quality metrics that directly correlate to user trust and business goals Scalable Solutions: Architect solutions that ensure the reliability and trustworthiness of AI models and features embedded across the Coinbase ecosystem Core User Journey Excellence Deep Fissure Analysis: Develop deep customer insights to identify and instrument the highest-friction points and quality gaps in core user journeys (e.g., onboarding, buying/selling, sending/receiving assets)Journey Improvement: Drive initiatives to proactively improve the success and stability of these core journeys using data science and AI signals, ensuring world-class reliability and simplicity for all users Global & Localization Integrity Localization at Scale: Architect systems and processes to prevent and resolve systemic localization quality issues at scale, including translation accuracy, regional compliance, and ensuring cultural nuance is maintained in the product experience for our global user base Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as the primary voice of Consumer Product Quality, partnering deeply with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Product leadership to embed quality standards and best practices throughout the entire product development lifecycle Requirements 6+ years of Product Management experience, with substantial experience driving product quality, reliability, or platform stability for a high-scale B2C product A proven track record of leveraging AI/ML, data science, or sophisticated technical methods to solve systemic product quality, relevance, or reliability challenges Expertise in defining, measuring, and reporting on product quality metrics Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable independently analyzing complex datasets, identifying root causes, and quantifying customer and business impact Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives Demonstrated ability to influence and drive complex cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, maintaining alignment across diverse, geographically distributed teams Nice to Haves Experience delivering consumer-facing products in the FinTech, Crypto, or highly-regulated financial services space Technical degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field Direct experience managing products focused on large-scale localization QA or platform stability tools Background in machine learning, natural language understanding, or related technical field P73086Please be advised that each candidate may submit a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period.
