Overview

As the Manager - Communications at Tarachand Ramnath Seva Trust, you will play a vital role in driving the Trust's communications strategy on a daily basis. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the social portfolio of the Trust and its promoters. With a vision to bring communities together and create a better tomorrow, TRUST focuses on strategic philanthropic initiatives to bridge the gap between the current world and our aspirational future.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies, collaborating with the management team to align communication efforts, and conducting research to identify target audiences.
  • Creating compelling content for various communication channels, ensuring consistent messaging and branding, and coordinating with program staff to gather information and stories.
  • Engaging in media and public relations activities, including developing relationships with media representatives, organizing events and workshops, and serving as a Trust spokesperson when necessary.
  • Managing the Trust's digital presence, monitoring conversations, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in a media-related field, with 2-4 years of experience in communication management roles, preferably with CSOs or NGOs.
  • Skills in design, UI/UX, and proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English (spoken and written) are essential.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Google Suite, and Canva; Adobe Suite is an added advantage.

Key result areas

  • Metrics such as students reached, schools reached, successful events, volunteer pool, and trainer pool; objectives will be quantified upon joining the Trust.
