Jacobs would like to welcome a Principal Engineer to work on climate-related coastal and water network works, based at our Singapore office. This role will work on a variety of coastal engineering projects specifically coastal structures, feasibility analysis, engineering designs and analyses, report preparation, managing permitting and stakeholders and construction engineering services; and support our linear infrastructure team to manage flood alleviation and drainage improvement projects. Main responsibilities: Working on coastal infrastructure, and drainage improvement projects from planning to design, and implementation phases of projects. Developing focus client relationship management through the life cycle of projects; pursuing opportunities from first spark to award of contract, to successful project completion Detailed discussions to scope out clients’ requirements and expectations through effective listening, summarizing, and questioning. Identifying and securing follow-on opportunities through the quality and value of our engineering and client services. Providing technical engineering consultancy services. Together with the Project Manager, support the development of compelling proposals and presentations for engineering consultancy services. To be a successful candidate you shall possess: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer will be an added advantage. At least 8 years of related experience in coastal-related projects. Familiarity with all areas of coastal, maritime, and wider civil engineering practice and infrastructure development. Prior experience in working with PUB (Public Utilities Board) will be an added advantage. Experience in the feasibility, planning, investigations, modelling, design, and construction of coastal engineering projects(1) . Jacobs. A world where you can.
