- A company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud environments on AWS.
- The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills in CentOS/Ubuntu/Red Hat within an enterprise environment, as well as experience with system upgrades and patching.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Administer project-specific Linux and Windows infrastructure in a high availability setup
- Manage, coordinate, and implement system software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on the Linux and Windows platform
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency using Unix scripting languages
- Design, build, and manage web, app, and database environments on AWS, including services like EC2, ALB, Redis, RDS (running MySQL), EBS, S3, SNS, Secret Manager, ACM, and IAM
- Manage security products such as Fortify for Source Code Scanning, MetaDefender for malicious file scanning, CyberArk for Privilege Access Management, and OKTA for Customer Identity and Access Management
- Utilize solutions like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk Application Monitoring Platform to track system performance and maintain Linux system security settings
- Work closely with the in-house development team to provide DevOps support, including building, testing, and deploying software applications, managing code repositories, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Spring Cloud framework, containerisation technologies, and serverless compute systems
