This role involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Applications systems analysis and programming activities are key responsibilities.
The Futures Clearing Technology group is dynamic and fast-paced, handling trade allocations and clearing of Futures and Options across 22 clearing houses globally. We seek a senior developer for the Singapore team to collaborate with Developers worldwide on margin payment automation and fees and commissions automation flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test resilient services and APIs using latest frameworks and libraries.
- Architect and review technical solutions that conform to Citi standards, deliver optimized client experience, and competitive advantage while utilizing best-of-breed technology.
- Develop reusable software components in a microservices cloud-native architecture.
- Drive application development activities by partnering closely with stakeholders, product managers, and business analysts.
- Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using latest DevOps tools available at Citi.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reusable, shared libraries, and components.
Required Skills:
- Seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- Experience designing and developing cloud native applications with a microservices architecture running on Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes platform.
- Application development experience using Java, Spring, SQL, REST APIs, Kafka/IBM MQ, CI/CD tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum work environment and managing stakeholders in a global and dynamic environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience and competencies understanding of futures and options clearing workflow and experience working with futures exchanges and clearinghouses.
