Cloud Infrastructure Architect Role

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

  • Design, deploy and maintain scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito and others.

Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in DevOps engineering roles with a focus on AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in project execution and demonstrated technical expertise.
  • Expertise in designing, deploying and managing scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS with a deep understanding of AWS services, networking and security.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps including configuration, customisation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as AWS CDK for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
  • Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell or PowerShell for automation, infrastructure management and tooling development.
  • Familiarity with security best practices compliance frameworks and security controls for cloud environments knowledge of HIMS Cloud Security Policy is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
