What you will be working on:
The incumbent is responsible for formulating strategic plans aligned with SportSG's corporate direction and Vision 2030 goals. They oversee Active Health planning, budgeting cycles, and milestone projects, including collaborations with key industry and healthcare partners locally and internationally, to enable citizens to embark on health and wellness journeys through evidence-based approaches. They oversee capability development for Active Health, including upskilling industry multipliers and leveraging technology to improve and scale operations. They monitor global trends, study latest research in exercise science and population health, and analyze data sources (e.g., AH Performance, NSPS) to develop strategic recommendations.Roles & Responsibilities:
Direct Active Health's strategic planning processes and work streams.
Develop business strategies based on reviews of Active Health's strengths and gaps within Singapore's health ecosystem.
Manage secretariat support for relevant steering committees and workgroups.
Review progress and provide KPI updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Establish processes with ActiveSG, AH Engagement, and PDD teams to operationalize and track impact.
Work with finance and strategy teams on budget and resource visibility.
Coordinate with Strategic Communications for media inquiries and features.
Develop and strengthen partnerships with MOH, Regional Health Systems, and other sectors.
Manage MOUs with Active Health partners and explore overseas collaborations.
Drive development of Active Health Fitness Trails and support programming within these spaces.
Collaborate with data teams to analyze precinct-level data and develop solutions.
Oversee dashboard preparation and insights presentations.
Track outcomes of key initiatives and drive research in Active Health.
Assess industry landscape and develop capability development plans.
Prototype new technological capabilities to support operations.

At least 10 years of experience in sport science/management or related fields.
Strong strategic planning and budgeting experience.
Familiarity with healthcare narratives and programs.
Project management and team leadership skills.
Stakeholder management experience.
Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., R) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau).
Experience in experimental research and program evaluation.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Proficiency with data reporting and dashboards.
Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Resourcefulness in dynamic environments.
Commitment to professional growth and integrity.
A love for sports and health-promoting habits.
The level of offer will depend on experience and track record. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-3 year contract initially. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
