Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to provide first-line support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless system operations.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 support and responding to fault calls. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers reporting issues, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software failures, and track outstanding issues for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software failures using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Perform software and hardware installations, updates, and bug fixes.
- Conduct periodic system checks and testing to ensure system integrity.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux OS systems.
- Basic understanding of networking and scripting for automation.
- Experience in incident and problem management (ITIL standards preferred).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Certifications in IT-related fields are a plus.
