Job Overview

The role of Integrated Scheduling Lead entails the ownership and delivery of cross-project scheduling strategies across tender and construction phases. This involves partnering with Contracts and Project Leadership to drive program risk and claims strategy, ensuring that planning outputs are aligned with business objectives and commercial protection.

  • The Integrated Scheduling Lead is responsible for setting standards, approving baselines, and ensuring alignment of programs with business objectives and resource strategy. They must also lead the development of tender and master programs for major bids and projects, presenting program logic and resourcing strategy to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Close collaboration with primary counterpart Project Manager is essential for daily coordination on look-ahead, constraints, recovery plans, and overall project success.
  • The role involves defining and enforcing planning governance (templates, QA checks, program change control, look-ahead cadence) and driving continuous improvement in planning practice.
  • Partnering with Contracts and Project teams to optimize resource allocation and long-lead mitigation is crucial for successful project delivery.
  • The Integrated Scheduling Lead approves program substantiation for EOTs and variations, coordinates complex time-impact analyses, and defends positions with clients/consultants.
  • Chairing the EOT/claims programme review involves leading the internal time-related claims forum with the Project Manager and Contracts, as well as defending positions with clients/consultants.
  • Senior stakeholder reporting includes providing consolidated portfolio dashboards, risk heatmaps, recovery plans, and executive briefings to Project Directors and MD.
  • Managing the planning delivery team ensures timely and accurate outputs.
  • Representing the company on planning matters with clients, authorities, and joint venture partners requires ensuring planning positions are aligned with contractual obligations and company interests.
  • Key deliverables include EOT review minutes & action tracker.

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction planning, with demonstrated leadership of planning teams and ownership of programmes for projects ≥ S$100M in value.
  • A strong track record in both tender CPM development and post-award programme governance, as well as stakeholder-facing presentations and claims negotiations.
