Project Schedule Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Developing and maintaining project timelines to meet client requirements.
  • Reviewing and monitoring contractors' programmes to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Evaluating contractors' baseline S-curve, cost loading, resource allocations, histograms, and 4D BIM submissions, highlighting potential areas of concern to the client.
  • Providing detailed feedback on schedule submissions from contractors and recommending approval status in line with client standards.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly progress dashboard reports to the client, identifying issues that may impact project completion.
  • Reviewing contractors' progress reports and updated programmes to reflect actual progress and identify changes in work sequencing.
  • Assessing trade productivity levels and supporting the evaluation of contractors' time-related claims, providing recommendations to the client.
  • Assisting in the development of presentation materials for the client, relevant authorities, stakeholders, and interfacing parties.
  • Performing administrative and other project-related tasks as assigned by the client.
  • Conducting delay analysis and supporting the assessment of extension of time (EOT) claims submitted by contractors, using common methods like impacted as-planned, time impact analysis, or as-built vs as-planned.
  • Preparing forensic schedule reviews to identify delay causes, assess critical path impact, and help validate contractor claims.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
  • A strong background in construction planning with proficiency in Primavera P6, scheduling, reporting, and 4D BIM coordination.
  • A degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in delay analysis and handling EOT claims is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with standard delay analysis methods, such as SCL protocols.
  • Understanding of contractual time-related provisions, such as PSSCOC.
