Murex Back Office & Accounting System Analyst

With strong Front to Back expertise in the cash and derivatives markets, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart, business-wise, and efficient solutions to our Clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated accounting business analyst to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s Murex projects. In this project, there will be new product initiatives, Murex version upgrades, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Analyze and manage business requirements into a solution design, managing user requirements workshops and formulation of an overall solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure that the business requirements are met.
Hands-on business analysis role to analyze and propose solutions for business issues, process changes, and functional requirements.
Capture, specify, and document business requirements for implementation for the Back Office and Accounting stream.
Work with different IT teams across infrastructure and other divisions to deliver system solutions for the business.
Collaborate with stakeholders on their priorities, needs, as well as system improvements.
Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stakeholders.
Coordinate and validate Back office and Accounting stream testing and test cases during UATs.
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business, or Accounting.
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the financial industry on treasury products with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.
Strong understanding of Back office & Accounting concepts of below treasury products:
FX Cash, Fixed Income, and Money market.
Commodities.
Effective team player with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solver who can question and understand proposed solutions and business drivers.
Proven stakeholder management skills in interactions with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
