With strong Front to Back expertise in cash and derivatives markets, coupled with in-depth knowledge of financial market technologies, we provide smart, business-wise, and efficient solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated Murex Back Office Accounting Consultant with strong knowledge and experience in the client side:
Analyze and manage business requirements into a solution design, managing user requirements workshops and formulating an overall solution design, modeling transactions through the system to ensure that the business requirements are met.
Hands-on business analysis role to analyze and propose solutions for business issues, process changes, and functional requirements.
Capturing, specifying, and documenting business requirements for implementation for the Back Office and Accounting Team.
Work with different IT Teams across infrastructure and other divisions to deliver system solutions for the business.
Collaborate with stakeholders on their priorities, needs, and system improvements.
Build strong relationships and manage expectations with users and stakeholders.
Coordinate and validate Back Office and Accounting stream testing and test cases during UAT(s).
RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience working in the financial industry on treasury products with relevant experience in business analysis and project implementation.
Strong understanding of Back Office & Accounting concepts of treasury products including FX Cash, Fixed Income, and Money Market.
Commodities knowledge.
Effective team player with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solver who can question and understand proposed solutions and business drivers.
Proven stakeholder management skills in interactions with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience working with MUREX (v3).
XVA/PFE Engine.
Static Data – Counterparty, Bonds, Ratings.
Accounting Rules/Filters/EOD.
Simple/Dynamic/Formula Accounts.
Trade Booking.
Understanding of Front to Back Trade Life Cycle.
Understanding of Accounting Schemas for various asset classes.
