Regulatory Trade Compliance AnalystRegulatory Trade Compliance Analyst – Job DescriptionRegulatory Trade Compliance Analyst will ensure global compliance with export controls and sanctions regulations to support and drive international business within a publicly traded, multinational environment. The successful candidate will work as a member of Infinera’s Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team, while also engaging with interdepartmental teams. This role will require strict adherence to Infinera’s global compliance standards and all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of international trade laws and regulations to support and manage import and export processes effectively. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and commit to maintaining the highest standard of regulatory compliance.Roles & ResponsibilitiesReviews shipping and customs documentation, and accurately classifies products for import and export by determining proper HTS/ECCN codes, tariff classification, country of origin, ECCN and valuation for all applicable products.Verifies shipments and orders for export control screening and licensing requirements within GTS, ensuring compliance with export authorizations and screening against sanctioned party lists (SPL).Oversees and audits all import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, shipping entries, and certifications, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company retention policies.Directs the examination of commercial invoices, shipping/entry documents, certifications and all other supporting import/export records to ensure accordance with regulations.Assists with export license application process, by working closely with government agencies and internal stakeholders.Monitors and reviews Customs Clearance for all shipments, providing guidance and support to Infinera’s Brokers as needed, resolving issues to avoid delays.Participates in team projects or compliance initiatives, by developing and refining processes to keep pace with regulatory updates and best practices in trade compliance.And other tasks or projects as assigned.Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 5-10+ years of relevant trade compliance experience in a multinational environment; a bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.Thorough knowledge of export and import regulations and general import/export operational procedures.Experience with SAP or other enterprise-level trade compliance systems is preferred.Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Demonstrated expertise in customs clearance procedures, product classification, documentation, audits, and global trade compliance procedures.Desired Skills:Applicable certifications, such as Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Export Specialist (CES), are advantageous but not required.Proficiency in Global Trade Systems (GTS) and proactive approach to compliance.Skilled in using screening tools like Descartes and Dow Jones.Working knowledge of Salesforce is aplus.Sound judgment and analytical skills with a commitment to integrity and regulatory excellence.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in export control and customs regulations.Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.This position requires direct or indirect access to certain confidential information, hardware, software, technology, or technical information (referred to here as "Export-Controlled Information") controlled under the U.
