Citi seeks a skilled Compliance Risk Analyst to join its Surveillance team, focusing on detecting behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures.
Job OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing surveillance alerts and reports, documenting the review and disposition of exceptions, and escalating matters appropriately. You will also gather and analyze trade data to assist in the Firm's response to inquiries from governmental and exchange regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing and analyzing surveillance alerts and/or reports relating to firm, employee, and client trading activity.
- Gathering and analyzing trade data to assist in the Firm's response to inquiries received from governmental and exchange regulatory bodies.
- Assisting with the design and implementation of new surveillances as well as the refinement of existing ones.
- Interacting with IT on the specific design and testing of new surveillances.
- Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off packages.
