Overview
MES Support Analyst (Digital Transformation/ Automation/ Pharma) – 12-Months Contract – Location: Tuas – Salary up to $7,000 depending on experience – Industry: Pharmaceutical
Responsibilities
Configure system components including workstation assignments, printers, weighing scales, and access rights.
Maintain and update specification documents to reflect configuration changes and system enhancements.
Support Plug & Produce (P&P) investigations and design to enable seamless integration between MES and Historian.
Act as a liaison between Digital, Automation, MES, SAP, and Global Teams to coordinate issue resolution and system improvements.
Review and approve technical specifications for MES-related developments.
Prepare and execute test cases, ensuring thorough validation of system changes, upgrades and new functionalities.
Develop and optimize SQL queries to support MES data operations and reporting and troubleshooting if required.
Plan and coordinate MES system upgrades, including assessment and rollout of new releases to ensure minimal disruption and compliance with quality standards.
System Operations & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the global support team to troubleshoot or support technical issues across MES, application services, databases, and connected devices (e.g., workstations, printers, weighing scales).
Assist in monitoring application performance and availability to ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations.
Support user access management in compliance with Sanofi’s standard processes and policies.
Requirements
Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies, ensuring efficient project execution across diverse teams and timelines.
Deep expertise in deploying, configuring and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Experienced working in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments with a solid understanding of industry standards and validation requirements.
Experience in integrating MES with a wide range of enterprise and automation systems: DCS systems (e.g.: Emerson DeltaV); SAP ERP; Data Historian.
Technical Proficiencies: Database: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; IT support processes: Incident management, change management and service request handling; Application Architecture: Solid understanding of application design.
