Assessment Specialist II

You will be responsible for writing and reviewing test items, gathering feedback from various sources, and evaluating item acceptability post-testing. Additionally, you will participate in and oversee constructed-response scoring activities, approve items for test use, and devise strategies to enhance results from outside item writers. You will also design new assessments and products, develop training materials for item writers, and work with client committees on various tasks.Your role will involve working closely with client content representatives, attending client meetings, and managing test development activities. You will be expected to lead test creation teams, manage item evaluation processes, and make recommendations to improve item quality. Furthermore, you will coach staff, serve on policy and planning committees, and act as a spokesperson for the organization in the field of test development.In terms of qualifications, a Master's degree in the relevant field or equivalent education and experience is required. You should have at least 5 to 6 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in test development or educational measurement. Strong writing skills, organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential.Key skills for this role include expertise in test development, content knowledge, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. Collaboration, learning orientation, and a comprehensive understanding of English as a Second Language or related fields are also important.If you have experience in planning, developing, and evaluating assessments, working on K12 projects, and are open to relocating to Hyderabad, this full-time permanent position might be the right fit for you.,
