About the role

As a BIM Specialist (M&E) at KTC, you will play a crucial role in utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to support the company's engineering and construction projects. This full-time position is based in Singapore and will involve working closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure efficient and effective BIM implementation.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M&E) systems
  • Coordinating BIM models across multiple disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
  • Generating BIM-enabled drawings, schedules, and other deliverables to support project requirements
  • Providing technical support and training to project teams on the use of BIM software and processes
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure BIM models and data meet their needs
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies, standards, and best practices
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of BIM strategies and protocols

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a BIM Specialist or similar role within the construction industry
  • Proficient in using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines (e.g., IFC, COBie)
