Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
8+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
5+ years of team management experience.

To meet this goal, we are looking to hire a Head of Operations Excellence with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to lead a team of program managers and own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations, and supply chain projects.
To be successful in this position, we seek an innovative, analytical, and hands-on operations leader to drive standardization and innovation in process, layout, and material flow across our fulfillment network. The candidate must be able to contribute cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with technical constraints. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is located in Singapore.
Responsibilities include:
Gathering and analyzing data across business functions to establish standards for supply chain, product fulfillment, and delivery.
Performing process analysis, design, and improvement initiatives.
Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
Innovate to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
Analyze and solve operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward opportunities.
The leader will lead a team, cross-functional programs, and projects related to under-the-roof process analysis, standardization and improvement, as well as Learning & Development across Fresh, Amazon.sg FC / External Fulfillment and Delivery.
He/She will be responsible for local initiatives as well as prioritization, planning, and execution of global tech features and process rollouts in Singapore. This role will work closely with our field teams (FC, DS), supply chain, engineering, procurement and be the Singapore Ops interface for new initiatives as well as worldwide Operations Integration and ACES programs.
This is a high visibility role where the candidate would need to influence and engage with senior leaders (directors/VPs) on decision making.
Strong verbal and written communication, the ability to lead cross-functional programs with a variety of stakeholders, data and process analysis, and improvement are key competencies for this role. A hands-on mentality and empathy are keys to success in this role.
The ideal candidate has tools and methodologies to design, dissect and improve processes (e.g. Six Sigma), is able to convince senior leadership, field leaders, and does not shy away from working in the process path to identify improvement opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
